Dulce Vida at V8 Supercar Series recap

Over the past weekend, May 17-19, here in Austin, Texas, the Australian V8 Supercars series sped into the Circuit of the Americas, marking the first time the series has raced in the United States since its inaugural season back in 1997.

Australia’s most popular motorsport series was celebrated by the thousands of fans who braved the humid, 90+ degree Texas heat to catch exciting racing throughout the weekend. In addition to the action on the track, fans were treated to MotoX Jumping Shows,  in, around and over the large COTA reflecting pool, unique car exhibits, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, driver autograph sessions and more.

With the searing May temperatures, Dulce Vida Organic Tequila was a welcome refresher to the many who sought shelter at the PSL Hospitality Suite at Turn 15. With excellent views of the exciting high-speed activity on the track, the Dulce Vida skinny margaritas were flowin’ aplenty and keepin’ the crowds cool throughout the afternoons.

In addition to the Australian V8 Supercars, Dulce Vida has been proud to be a spirits partner at Circuit of the Americas during other major events held at Austin’s newest, most unique venue, including the 2012 Formula One U.S. Grand Prix, 2013 MotoGP Championship and many concerts already held this year within the COTA grounds at the Austin360 Amphitheater.
